Jackie Perkins

Jackie Perkins is the eighth letter carving apprentice to be supported by The Lettering and Commemorative Arts Trust, with Eric Marland in Cambridge. A former stone conservator, she discovered a passion for letter carving when she began attending short courses run by LCAT and others. A two year (Historic Scotland) placement with a monumental masonry firm preceded this apprenticeship and she is now building a letter carving career.
